GEORGETOWN COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP
TIME TO SPRUCE UP GEORGETOWN!

With the recent heavy winds and stormy weather, Georgetown has seen an increase in wind-blown debris. Many tree branches, roof shingles, and loose litter whipped around and were deposited in all areas of our beautiful subdivision.

We are inviting all residents to participate in the clean up. This task will take a relatively short time to accomplish with the help of our neighbors.

Please join us:
Saturday, June 24th, 2017
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Location: 7202 Georgetown Commons
(First House into Georgetown from Harlem - North side).

Volunteers will meet to fuel up with doughnuts, coffee, milk, and orange juice before departing for designated sections of Georgetown. We will provide vinyl gloves, but if you have thicker work gloves, please wear them. Trash bags will be provided.

*Students will receive service hours for the GHA clean-up. Please bring your ‘service hours’ paperwork to Cynthia Reynolds for signature.

**New this year…. the Village of Frankfort has agreed to sign for service hours for our GHA clean-up.
Any student cleaning Georgetown AND the vacant Georgetown Office Building lot will get double hours!
You will be required to take a separate ‘service hours’ sheet to Mary Canino at the Village after GHA has verified your work at the vacant property.

DOUBLE HOURS AND DOUGHNUTS!!!

If interested, please contact Cynthia Reynolds at (815) 464-3505 or respond on Facebook so that we may get a head count. A warm thanks to all our volunteers!
